Dennis Schneider aka "HasuObs" is Protoss player from Germany, representing team Mousesports. Coming from a Warcraft 3 background, HasuObs has had a lot of success since the start of the beta. His accomplishments consist of many qualifier and cup wins, including MLG Orlando German Qualifiers and GIGABYTE Cups. His biggest accomplishment is taking 4th place in IEM Guangzhou, falling only to the winner, PuMa.
HasuObs started out focusing much of his play around his control and his timing, but since has switched to a more future-oriented play style. Hasuobs uses his superior unit control to keep him safe while simply moving towards end game, where his decision making and his unit control shine best. He has had a huge deal of success with this style, taking out players such as Boxer, Goody, and ACE. He has even success with all races, and does best on the Lost Temple map.
HasuObs placed 4th in Division 2, making it to the Wildcards but was ultimately defeated by Galaxy.
HasuObs started the season with a 2-0 win against TLO. Although he would go on to lose to DIMAGA the following week, he would take wins over Tyler, qxc and Moman, as well as a 2-0 win against defending NASL champion PuMa.
HasuObs secured a top 2 finish in his division and qualified directly for the offline Grand Finals event in Ontario. In the Ro16, HasuObs would defeat Huk, a matchup where he was the underdog. However, he would be defeated by HerO in the Ro8. HerO would go on to win 2nd place in the tournament.
As a member of Division 4, HasuObs first faced Terran player SeleCT, whom he lost to 0-2. He bounced back quickly from this loss, winning the next 4 series. In Week 5 and 6, HasuObs faced Korean players MC and ACE, both of whom he lost to, 1-2. He took the next series against Stalife before losing again to Ret in the last series of the season.
HasuObs did not qualify for the Grand Finals directly, but made it to the 13th seed playoff bracket. He defeated Fenix, advancing to the next round where he once again faced ACE. He defeated ACE and took the bracket and the seed in the Grand Finals.
At the Grand Finals, HasuObs faced Moon in the Ro16. In a popular game (due to one of Moon's attacks which consisted of 130 banelings), HasuObs lost the series and was no longer in the running for the grand prize.
